Watching Gale in Thirst, his presence was riveting, but the short film itself was beautiful. I could've watched it even if Gale wasn't in it, but he as well as the other actors were wonderful.

I haven't watched EP yet, but others have said they wouldn't have watched it, if not for Gale.

Let me tell you, Echo Park is a beautiful movie. Gale attracted me to it, but the romance between the two protagonists held my attention in place until it was time for him to appear. And when he did, I nearly flipped out. Gale will never not have that swooning fan girl affect on me.

The movie is kinda slow so be prepared to look out for the subtleties. And as much as it is a romantic movie in certain parts, it's also dramatic in others. Tony, Mamie, Gale and the other actors did a great job portraying their characters. Very good indie film + the music is really great, at least to me.

Denise - Thank your for the pictures and also for the excellent summary review. I also watched the movie last night and I feel you put into words what I couldn't.

It is just incredible to be able to see Gale in something new and recent... I can never get enough. Thirst and now Echo Park and Andron soon... so much wonderfulness.

The movie is slow, but I still enjoyed it. I really enjoyed the music, too, so much that I watched the movie credits at the end to see some of the names/artists. I'll post one of the songs over in the song thread (Je t'aiime).
