This is from the Gay Astrology book I have. Now, I'm not saying Gale is gay, so I'm not making any judgements here. Just found this interesting and thought I'd share:


Coming Out -
Telling his mother he is gay is a turning point in this boy's life. Whether she is accepting or rejecting will color his view of his sexuality and how readily he will come out to others in the future.

Cancer feels no responsibility to share his identity with the masses, so he wants to choose where, when and to whom to come out to.

His biggest fear is that coming out will separate him from his community and family.

The clincher is usually a serious relationship. As secretive as Cancer is, it is difficult for him to conceal his boyfriend from the other important figures in his life.

It would be perfectly normal for his childhood experience to influence his views on sexuality Especially considering how "particular" it was. I wouldn't be surprised if he engaged into more daring professional projects because of a still lingering need to oppose to the strict and prudish education he received.

There are so many cute Gale scenes in the film. I can't wait for the dvd, and I really hope it will contain interviews, commentary, and extras of Gale in it.
