I'd like to play around with some blending of multiple images, too... one day. It's a great idea! The blending effect is not weird - it's awesome. Just the positioning of the photo was weird. Plus, I love black and white.

I have "gimp" at home... I haven't have time to use it, but a friend of mine does and she says its almost as good as photoshop, but its free
