Thanks so much for posting, Victoria! I love all of those pictures of Gale. I tend to avoid any fan made vids on YT, but it always makes me feel good to see Gale. AND…I adore David Bowie… so yeah.

YES! David Bowie is so cool, and the fact that Gale was/is a huge fan of his is a plus.

Haha…I've been a fan of Bowie for 37 years! My first heavy make-out session was to the soundtrack of Hunky Dory!

Wow, so you definitely have some history and grew up with his music. Which is so cool. I've heard about him for quite some time and decided to go check out some of his music...I got hooked instantly.
Space Oddity is one of my favorite albums of his. I also love his latest work released in 2013. __________________

Gale does love classic rock…especially guitar driven stuff. Back in the day, lead guitar and bass were emotional and clean. Just listen to Pink Floyd…the entire Wish You Were Here album, Animals and The Wall. David Gilmore was/is one of the tastiest lead guitar players ever. And Roger Water…his bass skills are just amazing.
Totally OT: Denise…look up Hunky Dory. I think you'll really like it. His lyrics are brilliant and the melodies and orchestration…especially for the 70's were awe-inspiring. There will never be another David Bowie, in any form he's taken over the years. __________________

Hunky Dory is definitely one of my favorites! I can't believe I didn't mention that one earlier. I especially love the song Changes because the production is just so unique and unlike anything that's ever been put out there in terms of melody. It never gets old. Just as so, albums that are crafted in quality are timeless endeavors anyone could ever stumbled upon.
Yeah, Gale does love a lot of guitar driven rock...music he's grown up with, and has a deep connection to. I admire that. __________________

I love each and everyone of the songs on the album. Whether from the 60's, 70's 80's, 90's, or 00's...classic albums are hard to come by. So when one finally does, I always want to celebrate it. An Hunky Dory is definitely up there as one of my favorites.

Gale posted an image on his Twitter yesterday of two lone MC helmets. It's from Shirley's Instagram, which is public. Why do we have to be teased by these pictures? And why does it fill me with a sense of longing?
