Gale looks yummy. How could anyone concentrate on a class with a professor like that?

Not to defend the show, but I met some people in college that had their priorities all wrong. So as absurd as it would be to miss out on an opportunity like that, it's not completely impossible.

It's not impossible in general, I agree. But it's not consistent with what has been said about Marti's before. She wanted to be on Julian's team at all costs, she joined the cheerleading squad to pay her law studies, she says to become a lawyer is the dream of her life, and still she misses this big opportunity. it contradicts everything that's been said about the character so far, on the show and by the creator and the actress too outside the show. I'm really thinking it was all smoke to make people believe the show had a depth it doesn't.

Yeah it does contradict what she's said her goal is you don't waste an opportunity like that for anything.

yeah i find it strange. She went see that prison when julian said her no. She didn't go with him to nashvill when it was sometihng she had to. If she want to piss him off she is doing a pretty god job on that.

I guess the storyline is so inconsistant because there are diffrent writers,and they obviously don't know how to tread Marti's character.

what bugs me a bit is that Gale did all that promo,and ended up doing only one scene per ep...

right. he gives so much to every role he plays,that's what I love about him.
still I had high hopes for professor Julian. I think it would have been great if there was a spinn off about him.even though I'm not sure Gale would want to do that

I read the network picked up 6 new scripts so there could be a bit more for Professor Julian (and for us ) there ...
