aww, it's an amazing scene. I definitely agree that it was Brian's way of saying ILY :sigh: I love that they kiss twice, and there is silence there, no music, nothing. just the two of them in the moment...

but than everything comes crashing down :(

mylu 09-10-2010 03:55 AM

and i still got that feeling i first did the first time i saw it and i get it everytime. Even if i known excatly what is gonna happend. It's so dam bittersweet.

I see some kind of parallel with the garage scene too. Brian looks very open in both scenes. Even though during the proposal moment he's definitely more vulnerable. At that point he's learnt, he knows how much he loves Justin and how horrible it is to live without him.

mylu 09-10-2010 04:26 AM

and horribel it is.

WildRose 09-10-2010 05:07 AM

Brian couldn't possibly affored to lose Justin again :sigh:

mylu 09-10-2010 06:48 AM

well he did send him to nyc.
So to me that doesn't really add up. But i guess it wasn't the same.
B/c it wasn't justin leaving him. If was brian forcing jusin to do there or so it fels like sometimes.'

WildRose 09-10-2010 07:26 AM

Brian certainly didn't lose Justin when he went to NYC
I don't think Brian forced Justin to do that, though, I think it was a mutual decision, which proved how much they trust and love each othe, and for Brian it was really a way to show a selfless act of love.

mylu 09-10-2010 07:31 AM

yeah it probly was.
And even if a mutual decision justin still isn't ther you knwon

Manu9 09-10-2010 07:45 AM

Justin moving to NYC doesn't equal to Brian losing him. They are not breaking up, just going to live in different towns. I think also that yes Brian pushed him, but deep down Justin did want to go. I think he was very conflicted and he would have stayed for Brian, but deep inside he would have always wondered. Brian did the right thing pushing him to go.

mylu 09-10-2010 07:49 AM

yeah he probly would have. Don't lisen to me i'm just having negative all over me right now .

i never learn 09-10-2010 09:42 AM

isn't saying brian pushed him a little severe? i don't think there was pushing involved, just rationalizing.

WildRose 09-10-2010 09:43 AM

oh,it's ok sara, belive me, I understand

I belive Justin wanted to go  I also belive they maintained their long distance relationship until one of them eventually decsided to move in with the other.
(personaly I like the idea of Justin going back to the Pitts :sigh: )

galesgirl645 09-10-2010 11:59 AM

If Justin didn't want to go he would've made his case more emphatically.

WildRose 09-10-2010 01:17 PM

I think that after " I want you to do what makes you happy" convo it was much easier for Justin to leave for NYC because as much as he was sad to leave still now he knew where he stood in his relationship with Brian, and he knew that they're both commited to each other, and that even if he'll be away he's always have somewhere, and someone to come back to :sigh:

Yeah, that's probably a better way to describe what happened  I guess there was some pushing in their talk in bed, when Justin seemed not to want to even talk about NYC and Brian pushed him to look at things putting his feelings aside. But I think the desire to go was inside Justin and Brian just helped him realize that and admit it.
