^ I would assume to the end of this season. Don't want the flashbacks to continue past that.

I feel bad for Alfie too. I don't suppose he expected to be out of job this quickly when he got the lead role. And though I will personally probably keep watching Wes scenes to see if they give him anything positive in those flashbacks, it really is so cheap and manipulative to the audience to use flashbacks to keep us watching.

Agreed. It speaks volumes about someone's (lack of) writing skills if they can't keep the audience invested in their story without the "is the main character going to survive" effect.

Not to bring everyone down further, but this post on Tumblr totally unravelled me.
