That gifset and quote I keep further upsetting myself by checking out his tumblr tag, full of sad gifsets.
A lot of people are indeed rightfully angry. I would like to believe Pete will at least take all the criticism of this story seriously, but I doubt it. From my experience, most tv show writers just brush it off. |

I think he wont care. Though I hope, and I know people will not like me saying, but I hope the show feels the loss through ratings and then he realises what a bad call it was.
And at the same time I'm hoping Alfie is involved with some other successful thing. |

I feel bad for wanting the show canceled too because that would put the rest of the cast out of work too. And we’d lose one of the rare tv shows with a black female lead. But I can’t say I don’t want it cancelled because, at least for now, I really do.
Hopefully Alfie will move onto something else great soon. Remember this? She’s alone - a pawn. And isn’t that why you do this? Defend people? So they get a fair trial? That’s not gonna happen to her because she’s poor. And I don’t think that’s fair and right. If you want to fire me, then fine. But she needs you. I don’t know.. I just wanted to do something. source He had the biggest heart of them all. He could have hated the world for all that happened to him but instead he wanted to change it and make sure other people don’t experience injustice and suffering. I loved him from his first scene, but this one really deepened and solidified that love. |

That's exactly it, I don't want these people out of a job, and it's bad enough that Alfie lost his, (especially since he was main lead and wouldn't have expected that so soon) but I hate the show and what they've done, and I want them to realise that killing off Wes was a mistake.. killing of a poor black guy who already went through hell and was starting to find some happiness is not good entertainment.

I'm still fuming. Like, I can't believe this is happening.
I remember when I first saw Annalise's reaction in 301, I felt like maybe it woule be him and was like: "woow if they have the balls to do this" But I'm reading all these interviews and if Pete isn't lying, he did what Arrow did last season: Hey let's kill someone but we don't know who yet. And this is when we have the worst decision made when it comes to our shows. I had my ups and downs with Wes, but to me he was the main character or the show, as much as Annalise if not more. And now, it's over. And the dynamic between Viola and Alfie is forever gone. It's unbelievable. |

Alfie's laughter is really infectious. This thread title is very appropriate. And much though I loved the angsty, broody Wes, I wish we also saw more of him being happy and laughing.
