Yes…I love going out with my older son. I miss it because he live on campus and he's a really amazing kid.
We went to see Whiplash, which left me confused. J.K. Simmons was fantastic, but if he wins the Oscar over some of the other nominees, I'll really be confused.  This is going to sound strange, and I'm not saying it will be a great movie, but…there was a trailer for the 50 Shades movie and my son says "50 Shades of Sexual Abuse" (which I have mixed feelings about because it was consensual)…then thinks Whiplash is not abuse when clearly the main character is abusive to his students…just left me perplexed.  __________________

Aw, that's a bummer about Whiplash. I'm dying to see it. I'm a huge Miles Teller fan.
