Nicholas Brendon - Xander & Anya: The longest relationship in Sunnydale

At least, of the main characters, anyway. Xander and Anya got together near the end of season 3, and remained together until Season 6, when their wedding didn't happen. Despite that, however, they still loved each other, and even "got together" a couple of times afterwards.

Were they the best couple on the show? Some would say yes. Others would disagree.

Well, here's your chance to say what you thought of this pair.

I loved xander and anya together their relationship evolutioned a lot they grew up together and shared a lot of new feelings and experiences. They had everything they were hilarious sometimes and so serious and lovely other times.

I wouldn't say that their relationship was the best in Btvs, but it was the best relationship Xander was in. I liked it because they weren't exactly the perfect couple, but they were happy together and always hate great scenes. I didn't like the whole Hells Bells thing [img]smilies/cry.gif[/img] But their relationship lasted for so long, it was good to see Xander happy [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img] And although they weren't together in S7 you could still see that he cared for her.

I'm going to find pics now...i'm in a Xander/Anya mood.

Xander/Anya is not my favorite on-screen relationship on BtVS (nothing can beat W/T [img]smilies/wink.gif[/img] ), however it was definitely the best relationship Xander had. I think he grew up a lot thanks to her... and who could forget his little speech at the end of Into the Woods!!

i really liked X/A but i think that they could have done more with both characters.

I think they could've done more with the characters, and the relationship. It kind've forced Xander to grow up in a way, if they were going to get married they'd have a family etc..I don't know where i'm going with that.

Rob & Benjii'm gonna butt in and say that their relationship kinda started in S3. A sort of weird friendship anyway, but they weren't a proper couple until S4, when Xander called her his girlfriend...that was sweet [img]smilies/smile.gif[/img]

I guess it is all up to the way you interpret things. I still say they got together in Season 3. They had their first date, and formed their relationship then.

And, I agree that they could have done so much more with both characters. But, they spent most of their time dealing with Buffy, Spike and Willow. [img]smilies/frown.gif[/img]
