Let's see... We had the little 5 inch black and white TV, then the 13 inch BW, followed by the 13 inch colour, and now I have a 19 inch colour TV.
I don't have $50 for a DVD player. __________________

Yes, they should. I made pumpkin pies and chocolate chip cookies yesterday. I was gonna make oatmeal cookies today, but then, when I got up, I just didn't feel like doing it. Thus, no oatmeal cookies today.

I'm not really a fan of the oatmeal cookie.
I like chocolate chip cookies with walnuts in them...  ....Yum.If I baked and made food for my family, like you do....I'd demand really good presents...   here's hoping...Claudia __________________

Ah, but then again, you've never had one of my oatmeal cookies...
 Wow. That is just... Wow. I always put walnuts in my chocolate chip cookies! I don't consider them complete without the walnuts.I usually get good presents, but since no one in my family has a lot of money, I can't get too demanding, otherwise, I'd end up with nothing... __________________

That's very true..
I told you...we are brother and sister....we are connected in very weird ways... I am more selfish than you...I'd pout, at least... we do a grab, so that me and my sisters and their husbands only have to buy one gift for whoever's name they pull. It works out pretty well. __________________

See, we don't do that. Everyone buys for all of the people they want to buy for. It is very expensive, and we rarely get "big" items for people, because there are just so many to buy for. Plus, I would rather see the kids get a lot of things for Christmas than get something myself.
And, I do whine and pout... Just not enough to make sure I get all of the things I want. It's avery fine line that I walk.__________________

We used to buy a gift for everyone...and then the kids started getting bigger, and more demanding of gifts. so we spend more on them...

Well, I could write letters to Santa, and then "accidentally" leave them around for others to find... That could work. It would be different, anyway.
My aunt only buys for people who are in school, or her immediate family. Everyone knows that, and they accept it. Sometimes she gets things from others, and sometimes she doesn't. She's fine with that. It all works out, I suppose. __________________

 you could get your nieces and/or nephews (who still write to Santa) to mention you in their letters....."Please, Santa...Uncle Rob just wants a dvd player and Psycho Beach Party...and some other stuff...he's been good all year...won't you please just give him a nice Christmas....Please?" I used to by gifts for certain aunts and uncles...but I stopped doing that. Now it's just the kids, my mom & dad, and whoever I get in the grab. (and certain people at work) it's so much easier, and less expensive. claudia __________________

When I was working, I bought for my parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, and grandparents. After those gifts were purchased, I would consider other people. Sometimes I bought a lot, sometimes I boght very little.

Well my dad won a massive TV by chance, he gave it to me, but my brother stole it and gave me his little one- I was pissed cause it was big and silver, but he is a guy and he has a thing for TV's HiFIs and all these modern ****e anyway
