Same here... That's why I quit most of CW shows, no matter what, they always start to focus on romance in a way just shift the show... I like my superheroes to focus on what really is the big picture.

Had no CW show on my watchlist... but I caved for iZombie. Although i still try to stay clear of all CW shows

Yeah, it could be....

I didn't really watch, I think I've only saw like 3 to 4 episodes. I liked Kara's friend the nerd/funny guy. I think I just imagined Kara different in a tv show based on her, I just wasn't impressed by the character in the first episodes

Sad for Maggie/Alex fans like me though.

She might can return to Lethal Weapon I guess though...

I know, romance focusing is just starting to upset me that it's turning me off for them.
I don't mind romances if it's well built though but it seems only shows from the past were good at doing it.

Makes me appreciate my Clark and Lois, took them mid season 9 to finally get together...
Buffy/Spike, they never got together (as a couple)

But they have an interesting journey together.

I'm watching JAG TV series, I'm up to Season 9 and Harm and Mac aren't together yet.

I'm watching for the first time so can't wait to see when they do.

Mulder and Scully... jeez that took forever.

I just wish writers didn't feel the need to rush everything like the show is about to be cancelled or something.

Wait did you like Kara from Smallville? Just curious. lol Since Kara from Supergirl/Smallville are very different. lol

I'm hoping to start IZombie soon... well I did watch like the first 3 episodes and quit the series but it wasn't because it was bad, I just got preoccupied with something else and didn't look back.

The DC 100 project was the first time I wrote for Legends/Flash/Arrow, and second time for Supergirl (other time was last summer's project). Beyond that I have my GMW daily thing, and original stories, that's mostly it

Floriana's character is not alive on Lethal Weapon... she only appears in some flashbacks.

I have a theory about the problem with romances now... too much teenage drama for relationships that clearly are of young adults. And maybe because of the online reviews they clearly seems to change midway, so they don't follow through with what they first thought and then it just seem like bad written stories.
I'm all for good romances and ships! But I hate when there isn't adequate behavior or just unnecessary drama

I liked Kara form Smallville mostly because she was different than Clark, more active, more bold... with Kara from Supergirl I felt like a female version of Clark and it just didn't work for me (but again I only watched a few episodes)

I agree with that which is why in a way, I feel the writing was a lot better when writers didn't consistently need to hear from whinny fans through social media.

Because back in the day, it seems that writers had their plan and stayed with it and it's why the romances were probably written a bit better.

I dunno...
I do think at times, it's difficult go go different from what you planned... like Friends, they noticed how popular Monica/Chandler were and something that was suppose to be short term ended up being long term.

I think they noticed because of how loud the fans were cheering in the studio or something like that.

I'm all for the good romances as well.

It's just sad it's difficult to find.

In season 1, I actually loved Kara from Supergirl more. lol But since I'm currently re-watching Smallville and not liking Supergirl season 2, I think I love Kara from Smallville more now.
