They did which is why we still need background - don't feel like we know why he's doing this. Can't just be as boring as power, their must be a reason. Is it as simple as jealousy?

Jealousy and immortal. Makes some sort of sense. lol
We do know he would like to be with Kendra again but she keeps rejecting him so it just makes his job easier. |

Easier to want to kill her? cause of her rejecting him

I'm curious if he would easily kill her if he knew there was no chance for her to return... hmmm... Since he's a psycho, he finds it a win/win. He continually hopes for every lifetime to be different and eventually she falls for him and if she doesn't he can kill her and become more powerful with the hope of seeing her again.... not a great strategy but it's worked for him I guess. lol |

He has to kill to survive, whether it's the comic version or this one. In the comics,it's a little weird. He has cancer, but he also has the mystical energy. If he removes the cancer cells, he'll die, because they've absorbed the energy. It's gross, but he's a cannibal and he's killed his own kids to stay alive. He has some notable ones he's let live that he loves and cares for,but all and all,he's a nutcase with a god complex.
I'm so glad they're doing Hitler next week. It's part of his comic storyline and he and Hitler were extremely close. They worked on the regime together and Savage worked on some of the technology. The difference between the show and the comics is that that in the comics, they keep changing his origin story. He was Roman in the very first version and I believe the latest version had him saying that he was Cain, the very first murderer. I haven't polished it yet,but my Captain Canary fic revolves around one of these identities. __________________

Yeah,he doesn't need to be the only villain each time.

So why not making him a series regular is it because he's the villain, not have the villain as a regular?

^ Yeah it's a very odd decision to me.
Also this was easily Vandal's best episode for me! |
