^ Yup and I love Captain Cold but to me he didn't fit in with the team since it felt more like he was thrown in there over a natural team progress.

Well, Captain Cold was in the Legion in the comics.

But yeah, by the time they had him in Legends he'd already changed way too much for that.

I think the issue is that in SDCC they confirmed Wentworth was returning and will be a member of the Legion of Doom... but than by the time things happened, it made no sense and some of the old writers weren't on the show anymore so it was a bad fit.

We didn't even see how he got recruited.

And we can't even compare the Legion of Doom since from my memory: Merlyn, Darhk and Reverse Flash were not even in the comic book version of Legion of Doom.

So for this show, it shouldn't had happened and we all know Captain Cold wouldn't had been working with a speedster, so it didn't make sense.

Yeah, true. I disagree about Captain Cold not working with a Speedster, because I'm still pretty sure that Reverse Flash and Captain Cold were both in the Legion, but whatever. But you're right that the Legion of Doom is more of a Justice League story and not a Legends story.

^ Nah, Reverse Flash was never in Legion of Doom. I believe Legion got started by Lex Luthor.

I believe you are confusing Legion of Doom with Secret Society group, lol But even in that group, RF wasn't an a original member. I believe for the DC 52 he was... I forgot if Lex was in that one, I don't think so....... I forgot. lol But in Legion of Doom, naw, Reverse Flash wasn't in that.

I think that's why I found it believable when Captain Cold wanted to easily betray RF since I didn't find it believable for them to be working together in the first place...

Obviously they can't use the characters in the actual legion. DC wouldn't give them the rights. So they would use the villains we've already seen. It makes more sense to use characters we know.
