the clue is in how they killed Savage.... I would think that is the only way to kill off Hawks too...

It would seem to make sense if it did kill them off, but I guess it depends...
I mean afterall, on Smallville BOTH Kendra and Carter were killed from different people and still brought back to life.... but I guess Vandal was still living?

... so, I guess that doesn't count.
