^ Same. Don't get how Clark can suddenly believe Lionel is a changed man after everything he's down, yet think that Lex is his enemy and one of the worst people. Just confusing...

I don't get it either, it doesn't make sense. He knows about everything Lionel has done.. people don't just change overnight.

They sure don't. Lex has been there more for Clark than Lionel has and yet he suddenly trusts Lionel (even defending them to the Kents) and not liking a thing Lex has done.

Clark, if Lionel could, he would fight Jonathan for Martha affections if he knew he would stand a chance.
Like Clark, Lionel also is obsessed with the mystery behind Clark Kent.

I feel bad that I would've ship them if it wasn't for the Kents. I love their chemistry. lololol
I love Kents too much to really ship them with anyone else, it'd be strange. lol
I don't even like Martha moving on (if she did) after Jonathan's death... even if I want her to be happy.

I SO would have shipped Lionel/Martha too but The Kents are just too epic to not even ship them really

I feel if Lionel and Martha were on like another show and she wasn't Martha Kent,, I would've been one of the biggest shippers. lol

Just difficult too with the whole Lionel vs Jonathan stuff. It'd be very disrespectful to Jonathan I believe....

Aside from not trusting Lionel, that was always the main reason why I didn't ship/like them.

Yup, completely agree! too bad Glover and Annette weren't on another show. lol With Lionel/Martha, that would be too much. lol It would be the downfall of Martha's character.

This is partly why even if I like Lana still no Clana shipper - don't even appreciate them which is rare for me cause I tend to appreciate everything (again will bring up Stelena vs Delena where was OTP for one but still appreciated the other)
