It did, sadly. I remember their friendship lessening and maybe that's why I didn't pay a lot of attention to the later seasons.

Oliver was a great character and I did enjoy him with Chloe, but it didn't have the same effect on me as Chlark.

I am unashamed to admit I was a big Clana fan in the very early seasons too.

Chloe was always my favorite, of course. Since episode one. But Clark loved Lana and I wanted him to be happy. Though I also wanted him to give Chloe a chance. I was a multi-shipper.

I didn't feel the spark with Chlollie as I did for Clana and Chlark. And even Clois, though you know they aren't my favorite even if they are canon.

I started with a clean slate coming to SV.

^ I am not ashamed to admit that because I still love Clana during season 1-2, when I rewatch. The main difference with Clana during my re-watch is that I noticed things about them earlier what I don't like... before when I was watching live for the most part, I stopped caring for them after season 3, when I rewatch it's after season 2.

So I get fed up with them earlier.

I feel the same way about Chloe/Clark when I re-watch, I didn't like them at all season 1-3, because Chloe was acting like a jealous girlfriend although Clark never lead her on in anyway.

It was ridiculous she was making Clark and Lana feel guilty for loving each other. I loved when Lana told Chloe that she can't control the feelings that Clark has for her.

Only time I rooted for Chloe/Clark pairing was season 5-6, I felt their potential was amazing during those seasons!

I loved Chlollie but I wish they got build early than they did since Oliver was very much still in love with Lois in early season 9 .lol

I saw a lot of potential for Lois and Oliver. They were a fun couple.
