Yeah. She was trying to break up with him so many times but something always happened.
When she first was going to leave him, he said his Dad was sick... when she was going to leave him again, his father died.... so... bad breaking up timing for Lana.

So she just didn't want to break his heart...
I feel by this time although she cared deeply for Whitney, she was falling very hard for Clark so...
