I find it ironic that even Lex in his Christmas coma dream shipped Clark and Chloe.

^ One thing that's true, you will find a way to bring up Chloe/Clark in every thread. |

Okay, Lex in season 7 is totally killing it. I cannot believe that Julian is alive!

Thanks for posting that video, Fatima! Michael is such a great actor, I wish he'd be in more stuff.
Oh, I might have mentioned this before, but did you know that before he played Lex Luthor on Smallville, Michael Rosembaum was originally considered for the role of young Harvey Dent/Two-Face on The WB's original intended young Bruce Wayne TV show that got cancelled and eventually became the basis Smallville? __________________

^I loved that Kristen (in the recent panel) thanked Michael for his close the cast is now and I agree. MR is literally the reason for all the panels and getting the cast ESPECIALLY getting Tom Welling involved in events and then he's done Talkville. He truly kept the Smallville legacy alive.
I even loved how in the latest panel he reminded everyone that Smallville is the reason for Arrowverse. I truly appreciate Michael for what has done. |

Yeah, I love that he's done so much for keeping the Smallville legacy alive, and getting people to still talk about it and re-watch, not to mention bringing in new fans. And I'm especially thankful and appreciate Michael for his great friendship with Tom, convincing him to get into the convention scene more and if it wasn't for him, we wouldn't have either podcast, it means we have a lot more to talk on the Tom board! Yeah, Michael is always reminding everyone that if it wasn't for Smallville, we wouldn't have the Arrowverse, and it's so very true!

I agree, Michael has been the ringmaster of Smallville nostalgia for years now.

Yes, I kind of knew that for a while, because both Michael Rosenbaum and Tom Welling wanted Bruce Wayne on Smallville from the beginning, and were also frustrated by WB continuously denying Smallville permission to use Bruce Wayne or to revive the cancelled WB Bruce Wayne TV show, similar to Gotham, to run as a companion to Smallville. I can only imagine how they both felt when Gotham finally came on the air a mere three years after Smallville went off the air. I'd have been thinking, "you've gotta be ing kidding!" Sadly, even though that would've been a great storyline, it ended up going to Oliver Queen instead. Both Smallville and Arrow would end up using Oliver Queen as a stand-in for Bruce Wayne. If Smallville had gotten its way and Gotham had come out in the early 2000s as a Smallville companion show on The WB instead of on Fox, Bruce Wayne would probably not have been the same age as Lex, however. __________________

Yeah, it's a shame the WB was so strict on the rules of allowing what characters to be on the show and what they could do with them.
