It's been so long since I've watched. I'll get back to you on which scenes are my favorites of hers during the whole time she was on it.

I didn't dislike her as Lana by any means. It was her first huge acting role, and I felt she was great. Just like Laura as Supergirl wasn't my favorite role of hers but I love her deeply.

If you all know me, you know I am a huge Laura fan. I just saw tremendous growth as an actress in Beauty and the Beast, which is to be expected. And the writing was better. We all improve! Totally agree Fatima, Lana will always be her biggest role, and her "claim to fame".

I have some issues with how Lana was written. Compared to some of the other main ladies on Smallville, I just don't think her role was that important. It's not Kristin's acting, as much as the directions they went with her character. For example, I felt they spent too much time on Clark and Lana's love. That didn't help the show move forward, but held it back.

With Lana, I loved how she was written in the earlier seasons but my goodness those later seasons it was difficult for me...

I loved Lana best when she was with Jason...

Her earlier seasons were better, and I agree -- her best episodes were with Jason. Just so much confidence. She looked comfortable.

At least Lana being with Jason made her act so grown up. She wasn't the sad, lonely, and needy gal.

Yep and I loved how Martha even noticed how going to Paris did her some good for the maturity department. lol

It was great to see that change in her, although she still was the nice woman, she had more strength and confidence in herself.
