^ I like him on both sides, I just like him being shades of gray and not know what to expect for him.
Like at the wedding, I loved the twist of him going from good to bad instantly...

John Glover is yet another cast member that makes SV the ensemble to beat. What a strikingly handsome, charming, deviously dangerous character Lionel was. I loved his stunning mane of hair and his theatrical performance at every moment on the show. John has the *it* factor, that extra something that makes him stand out from other amazing actors and makes you zero in on every move he makes. What a magnificent and fun bastard Lionel was. *delicious shiver* Seriously, could one ever say enough about him?

"But I guess I'm back in the nick of time. Wouldn't want to miss how it all turns out.."

Screams!! He's so compelling!

^ 1000% agreed which is why he's one of my favorite characters of the series, as you mentioned, he just had the IT character and any scene he was in, you knew something great was going to happen. When he was good, it was difficult to believe and when he was really evil, you wondered his intention. John Glover made the character of Lionel Luthor one of the most compelling characters if not thee most compelling character of the series.

Also, that Lionel scene which you posted the quote for is probably my favorite Lionel scene of the series.

I don't know if any of you have seen the episode of Frasier that John Glover guest starred in, but as usual, he was brilliant! lol. I highly recommend watching it.
