Well Justin Hartley fans...this is what you've been waiting for (short of him getting his own spin off show! ) He's in the credits, a legit cast member and appeared in plenty of the episode. Looks like he's going to give Clark a run for his money as far as "hero" of SV in S8. Plus I like the dynamic between the two, Oliver is like Clark's big borther when it comes to "the super hero" stuff

Justin totally rocked. Having him in the O.C. and then he was in a majority of the episode which was even better.

Totally love his dynamic with Clark. These two are truly brothers.

Ever since Lex and Clark went their seperate ways, since Pete left in S3...Clark really hasn't had this 'brotherly connection" to anyone for more than a single episode or two. Now it will be there for the entire season.

Strider, I completely agree. It was fun to see Clark and Pete as bros but unfortunately Pete never stuck around. And Clark thought he had found a brother connection to Lex but their story ended up being that classic civil war tale where one brother sides with the north and the other with the south.

It's good that Clark has now found someone to truly have a brotherly friendship with. Like any sibling relationship there were bound to be bumps in the road as it was with season 6 but now they've come along way from butting heads with one another.

Hey guys, I'm posting my full review on JH here so you all can read it.

"Green Arrow"/Oliver- Beyond overjoyed to have Justin Hartley in the opening credits. He was super hot in it. And then having him back as GA was cool. Justin really played the emotions off well: first and foremost when he said that he would not give up on Clark. LOL, love how he suggested to Clark about getting a home-made suit and leading a double identity. Glad it was Ollie to suggest to him about that. Love the parallels too: A superhero (GA) suggesting to another about the idea of getting a superhero costume and then it's Lois who helps Clark get into his human identity (as was witnessed in 'Apocolypse' anyways).

Oh, and I downloaded some caps from JH.net so I'll be making a few avis this weekend

I know Clark the main super hero in the show but after seeing last night eppy Oliver seems to be right there with him. Then again it could just be me seeing something that isn't really there.

Marie, it's great to see you here again hun! Nice avie! I definitely like the big brother vibe we get from Oliver. As much as I love the girls on SV, it's nice to see another guy in the cast, especially one that Clark can actually be friends with.

Hee I also liked when Ollie asked Clark what he was going to do if he got caught, bite someone. Maybe we should resurrect the Clark/Oliver thread.

Indeed it was. JH also played his devastation about Clark's death perfectly. I wanted to give him a big hug and tell him it wasn't his fault.
