considering that Shield falls within the same timeline as the Avengers (Iron Man/Thor/Captain America)

I just feel that DC doesn't follow it

unlike Marvel does - think even the Netflix Marvel shows do, granted need to catch up on those

^ So, I guess that's the problem... DC movies/shows never follow the same universe so it makes things complicated whereas Marvel does so it's less complicated.

Although all these restriction rules still doesn't make sense.

cause Marvel doesn't take current characters from the movies unlike DC does - Lois being in a movie and than having her on SV

I'm assuming that's what the huge issue is.

Marvel rarely has 2 versions of something on at the same thing.

Whereas DC always does so they can't have the same storylines...

So, if someone is a fan of a certain character on DC, the best they should hope for is for a movie to not interfere of vice versa.

Like If another Superman series was to come out, I'd prefer it to happy when the movies are over with....
