Meghan, before season 8 we were just given anvils here and there. Season 8 started and the romantic undertones started. Season 9, though, took things to a whole new level. And I truly believe they're gonna treat their romantic relationship with the respect it deserves, they've done a perfect job at that.

That we are, because this is very rare in a television show. That this relationship snuck up behind us and then surprised us in a beautiful and meaningful way. Lois and Clark's romance is built on a very solid foundation, not just on Smallville, but in every single medium they've been in. Whether it's the comics, movies, animation or television the one thing that I'm sure of is this. As long as Superman's story continues, Clark and Lois will always be together.

Season 8 was great but I think Clark wasn't as sure as his feelings as he is now, so this Season is really so great!

Without the moments that happened in S8, Clark wouldn't have abandoned humanity the moment Lois went poof. S8 had its bad moments (really bad), but it was the precise year Clark began seeing Lois with eyes of love, IMO.

I'm so flabbergasted that Clois is happening in Smallville, it's something that really threw me for a loop. It hit hard and fast, but I loved it.

Yeah I agree with that. Season 8 was so great except the Lana coming back and the last episode of the season. I think Lana coming back was a waste of time cause she never got mentioned ever and it seems like the whole Clois build up was for nothing and it made the Smallville ratings go down

The last episode with Jimmy dying was unnecessary, they could have just sent him away for a few episodes if they had nothing to do with him and Davis character was really out of character.

Besides that the Season was pretty great.

Let's not talk about bad things when Smallville is in its prime. Yes, even though It's been on for 8 1/2 years, this season is just...Epic on such a grand scale. It's just...I'm speechless to how amazing this show has become.

Well, yeah. In a way, I mean, Lois wasn't around for the first three seasons. I mean, I enjoyed watching it, but I was marking down the episodes until Lois would show up. It was really hard seeing Clark and not having Lois around. When the seasons went by, I thought that Clark would never be with Lois. But then I tuned in again for Metallo and got hooked on the show again, well officially. Clois is what got me back into the show.

Yep. It was suprising, but at the same time realistic. They couldn't possibly stall it more.

I know, because they couldn't keep it at bay much longer. It was a runaway freight train, they couldn't stop it. Plus, they can't keep Clark grounded much longer as well. Clark needs to fly soon, he just has to. You know how I want the series to end? Well here's my dream ending...

Lois sits at the Daily Planet, plugging away at a story nervously since Clark hasn't come back from his final battle. Lois goes home, not knowing if Clark is alive or not, she sits anxiously at home, until she sees something in her window...

Clark is outside her bedroom window, in the air! Lois smiles from ear to ear and Clark takes her in his arms and flies off with her into the night.

The last thing we see....

Is Clark flying through the air with Lois, wearing the iconic Superman outfit...

Whatiya think?

Edit/Early Season Seven, I believe.
