Yes, so perfectly! and I love seeing it because we do get the Clark/Jonathan moments a lot that at times I feel we don't get enough of Martha and Clark.

How could I forget about Johnathon running for Senator
 should have remembered that because of how I do remember that Martha takes over after he dies  Yea 5x08 was rough and hard though loved seeing them happy in 5x09 __________________

It was sad
but isn't it that 99% of the time within Superman lore, Jonathon dies or am I just thinking of thinking that cause of Superman with Christopher Reeves and Smallville - Oh Man of Steel too  I remember you told me that his father is alive regarding Dean/Teri's show but what about comic/animated lore?__________________

^ You are correct.
 Sadly Jonathan is always meant to die for Clark can become the man he is. I feel his death is the main one that matures Clark, of course on Smallville we still had to wait. Jonathan was surprisingly alive when Clark was Superman on the LnC show.  That was new since sadly Jonathan is always dead before Clark becomes Superman. |
