Same here. If JKR visited my shipper brain, she would find that I'd like Harry to end up with Luna in the end. I just like how similar they are (both lost a family member for starters) and I really enjoyed their friendship, especially in OotP. I feel like it could develop into something more down the road.

I was honestly surprised JK didn't follow the Harry/Luna route but then again, romance was never her forte. She had gold in her hands with these two though, and I'm glad we got some of the best moments from the books.
Such as...  x Harry swallowed. “Good bye Dobby,” he said. It was all he could manage, but Luna had said it all for him. __________________

I guess it was because she wanted H/G to end up together so she didn't explore these two further.
Ugh that part. I did love that Luna was there. Harry was choked up but Luna remembered to close Dobby's eyes.  __________________

She is though I would have preferred that she was introduced early. I really like Luna, probably more than some of the other major characters. She's different.
