And maybe they purposely left out not capturing Grindelwald for part 3 in case they change their mind and do another movie.

I think so. So in the event that we do get part 4, they can tell that story. The Credence SL they managed to close right away and even had Jacob & Queenie marry. Newt & Tina were left open because Tina was MIA in part 3.

Yes I was also hoping that will happen as I also wanted Mads to play Grindelwald again but sadly it's not gonna happen now.
