Although I do think they have plenty of free time at Hogwarts just that Harry in particular is always looking at his back for fear that Voldemort might strike anytime though at least he is somewhat safe inside Hogwarts.

That's true plus it made me think that did Harry ever asked them if he would be safe in Hogwarts?

He's mostly safe there because of the magic that protects Hogwarts. Save for a troll and a Dementor that got inside, the school is still pretty safe.

Yes plus he'd rather stay there than at the Dursleys where he's mistreated.

I do think Harry has enough courage in him to even stand living there but technically he doesn't really have anywhere else to go if he runs away. He finally did do that in POA and at least Dumbledore did help with that.

Because we don't normally have them all together at the same time. We usually get Harry, Ron & Hermione all the time.

In the books, I think we did get more of them together (like Neville, Ginny & Luna would be around when Harry, Ron & Hermione were there) compared to the movies.
