Maybe through flashbacks but David Heyman confirmed that the real Graves is dead and that Colin won't be a part of the sequels anymore.

I hope they will all change their minds. It's not too late yet or has Jo written part 2 already (which I'm assuming she already did)? I kind of feel that I want to know more about him and what happened to him that Grindelwald got to him. I do think he's not as menacing as he's supposed to be plus Graves seems to be an important person in the MACUSA.

they can always go back and reedit/write some scene in for him if they change his mind. i would love to see him return
