Or teenage years but they met when they were much older, maybe early 20s or mid 20's? I don't think we ever really know how they met since most of that stuff happened off page. What we do know is that they met prior to the creation of the Order of the Phoenix. I think Jo mentioned something about this on Pottermore. Hang on...
