Also in the Epilogue of DH, Draco & Harry saw each other at Platform 9 3/4. They acknowledged each other but didn't say "Hi!" or anything. So I feel like they didn't bother or talk to each other anymore post-Hogwarts. Well that is until Cursed Child happened, if one is to consider that canon.

The Malfoys basically moved on with their lives and distanced themselves from their acquaintances I think. Probably shamed for being a Death Eater after Voldemort's death.

I'm not sure why most of the Death Eaters come from Sytherin. Anyone (who is depressed and vulnerable) can be approached actually.
