Rita Skeeter is her usual self of course. Still bitter, hateful and resentful over Harry and Ginny happy union. Poor woman.

Yes and Harry might be in the press box with her at some point. There's a poll on Pottermore asking who will the familiar face be! They'll be live blogging on Friday during the championship match so watch out for it!

Regarding Rita. She the necessary evil. We need these type of bitter, obviously lonely people so that we can see evidence of what a life lived without real love and compassion looks like. And don't you feel better about yourself for it.

A couple of things came to mind when I read the article. 1) Jo has an acutely accurate sense on tabloid reporting. The abuse that she and others in the Potterverse have received from The Daily Fail has only enhanced her own writing.

2) Just imagine how Ginny, Harry and their friends all had a collective belly laugh when they read the article together. At this point, Rita's writing is so insignificant and ridiculous that the only thing it's good for is a laugh and to line the bottom of the owl cages.

Rita also seems bitter that Ginny is covering the World Cup, and saying it's just because she's Harry's wife.

Yeah yet another reason to be bitter. Clearly Ginny has been doing a fantastic job otherwise we wouldn't be reading such seething hate in the article. I'm not sure Rita knows what good writing is at this point. Why did Hermione release the beetle curse on her again?

Seems kind of silly for the media to ask him those kinds of questions though. They're still together in the epilogue, which takes place after the article.

I know but the media are idiots. They never do their research. They probably never read the books. They're fed the questions and they don't really care if the facts are right or not. You can tell even Dan knows their agenda.

I think this might be a thread title contender down the road...
