Honestly, from my childhood, I used to have guinea pigs, bunny, birds, fishes and hamsters.. But never big pet like dog or cat..

Steph, wow that's a lot of pets as a kid. But yeah, we took care of rabbits too, a parrot, guinea pigs & hamsters (which are popular pets for kids) when I was younger. Dogs were taken care of by my dad but we were hands off with them.

Nope Linds.... a few years back...the apartment company management allowed pets, but it's 150 deposit and I think a 50 dollar increase in rent...

Yeah so that way we don't have to fight over same pet, so have my own, but I'm the one who take care of them more than others unless if there is poo, it's on them. .:lol;

Dave, I know what you mean. In my condo, pets are not allowed either.

Steph, for you to be a proper owner, it means even taking care of the poop! I do everything for the dogs; take a bath, the poop, take to groomers, buy their food, snacks, medicines, toys, get them vaccinated, etc. Bigger dogs are expensive just cause they eat more. Even more expensive if they've got a lot of hair because that would mean every 3 months trip to the groomers.

That's true. I mean I love my dogs to death but if they bark a lot, I know they'll be annoying the neighbors and that's not good.

I know but at least I deal w/ it.. Even tho once I did it, I get use to it.. I always prefer tiny one since I know what I want..

Steph, tiny dogs are the cutest too and they're easier to walk and carry around. My toy poodle is tiny and you can carry it with one hand. The Boston Terrier though, 2 hands but he's a middle-sized dog, very fat.

OMG! Poor that dog who trying to jump instead do that.. Can relate to that.. That's so cute and that's why I always want one plus they are so fluffy and sweet.. I always want one.. Even tho I have the name set for my future corgis pet since I want to get recuse one instead buying new one..
