Ahh, interesting.. But honestly, at first, I started to agree w/ them, but at least I wish that he can learn his punishment or something like that..

From reading the books and watching the movies before, I didn't think much of it plus I like that Harry gets away with it because he is the hero of the story. But fast forward to now, I feel differently and thought that there's a preferential treatment over him because his parents died so Dumbledore (most especially) is overprotective of him.

Some of his awarding of points are unnecessary to be honest. He can't just give 50 points to Gryffindor because Harry exists.
