I haven't seen any news about that but HBO did confirm that they will expand HP but wasn't specific if it was a docu, TV show or movie. I hope that's true because if we're not getting part 4 & 5, I'd be okay with that.

I don't think they solely focused on Dumbledore. It's just that we're familiar with him so we already know some of his story. I guess because (like in part 3), there was more focus on Dumbledore because of Grindelwald and we got very little of Newt who was there to help find Queenie and take down Grindelwald because Dumbledore asked for his help. Newt was still an integral part of the story,. Take him away and the storyline is dead.
I guess it also makes sense why fans want more focus on Newt because these stories started with him after all and it looked like he was only secondary character to Dumbledore, especially in part 3. __________________

They have to be and if not then what's the point of making more? I'm not a fan of re-casting especially for this franchise (unless necessary).
