Holy crap, Steph, I can't believe we're getting ^^ that now. We've been wishing for this since forever?

But also 2 things:

1. It's not set in stone yet and as the article says "There are no Harry Potter series in development at the studio or on the streaming platform."
2. They're creating buzz this early to gauge how the fans will react so depending on the feedback, I think it can be scrapped or will push through.

Even tho we were kind of joking, but I still prefer the animation more than live-action now, I wonder why they want to do that???

I think they put word out that they're developing a TV show to gauge what fans have to say. Seeing as there's mixed reactions to it, I guess we'll see if they'll still push through. Add to that all the issues with FBAWFT and JKR lately, developing a TV show wouldn't sit well with fans.

Tbh, I want a limited series with the Marauders (you know this). I've seen some suggestions about life after HP with Harry, Ron & Hermione. Or even stories about the Blacks or Tom Riddle. If it's gonna be on HBO, then expect it to be diverse at least.

Again, nothing is set in stone and for all we know, they're only creating discourse to generate some hype.

Yeah Marauders era for sure, I want that. I don't want anything post-DH actually like the lives of Harry, Ron & Hermione because if we'll do that, then I'd want only Dan, Rupert & Emma to play them which is impossible to happen. Plus I'm more interested in that era the most. Or the Blacks which includes Sirius, Regulus, Narcissa, Andromeda & Bellatrix. They're all younger versions so the OG actors don't need to play them again.

Oh yeah, def agree w/ you on that since I don't see them coming back to play them again.. I mean, I prefer prequel or anything like that..

I think the series should have been on tv in the first place or made the movies longer, they could have fit more book storylines in it.

I don't care about the marauders at all. I'd rather the next generation and then maybe the trio could make cameos.

I'm not really interested in the next generation after what Cursed Child gave us. I probably would only be okay with that if they'd include Teddy Lupin for the TV series. But since he's much older than the Potter & Weasley children, I don't think he hung out with them as much when he started working.

I agree, a TV series would definitely cover more since a lot was omitted in the movies but I'd rather get a prequel than a sequel.

After a month, the movies are gone on Peacock again.

Yeah, same here.. I would be prefer to have it as prequel, not the sequel..

I'm sure that they will be gone in March..
