I do wonder if Theseus is good with the creatures? I mean Newt probably is more experienced of course but how does Theseus fare with the creatures? Does he like them or lukewarm to them?

Yeah but does he know how to handle them or does he leave that all up to Newt? I'd really like to see him interact even if it's just with the Bowtrucke as that creature is always with Newt.

Yeah I expect Newt to at least teach Theseus like for example, how to hold the creatures for starters.
