It was a great moment. It gave me all sorts of warm and fuzzies.
 And it really did make me smile, I love it. But I think the end of FFL impressed me so much more because he was evil, basically. And she had been a total b*tch to him before and he was hurt and angry and he still chose to put her first and did I mention he was evil?  |

Exactly. He made himself vulnerable to her in every way. He had just told her (even if not in full) his life story, he had shared something that didn't exactly cast a very cool light on him and she rejected him in the most cruel way I could think of.
