Brad Pitt is vegan and donates a third of his income to charity. He sometimes accompanies Angie and the United Nations on trips to impoverished war-torn countries. After Hurricane Katrina he went down to New Orleans and oversaw and funded the construction of houses and buildings. He stood by his wife and helped her come back to herself (she was wasting away and looking sickly) after she lost her mom and aunt to cancer and proved he loves her for more than her body when she got a hysterectomy and double mastectomy. He is co-raising 6 children and it wouldn't surprise me if like Angie, he is trying to learn the native tongues of their adopted kids.

Tom is now understanding how horribly he treated Nicole over Scientology. Nicole is Catholic and raised by a psychiatrist. Scientology is anti anyone in the mental health field. Ironic considering anyone willing to give a cult thousands of dollars and shun their own family for being concerned is in desperate need of therapy.

Years ago I researched Scientology and the more I found out about it, the weirder I realized it really is. For instance, there used to be a questionnaire on if Scientology is right for you and it was used to weed out anyone that has been raped. The beginning stages of entering the cult involve psychological conditioning. They lowkey break you. Things like telling you to go stand with your face towards a wall and every time you have to do it and say "thank you". Again and again and again. Or attaching electrodes to your body and having someone ask extremely invasive questions and you have to answer everything and delve deeper and deeper no matter how uncomfortable or traumatized you are feeling.

I think that it helped that Nicole & Katie were raised devout Catholic. They understood what religion could be and the difference between true celestial faith versus brainwashed adherence to fabricated idioms.

sad note: Last year Nicole's father died and it appears he was accused of being connected to a pedophile sex ring. I don't know if there is any hard proof much like with Michael Jackson it might stay in that limbo place of uncertainty and untactful tasteless jokes. If he was guilty it says nothing about Nicole and I'm glad she was at least safe growing up.

Every time I start to write something this summer I stop a few sentences in and think, "I don't have the energy for this."

You know what's not good when you have low energy levels? Eating junk food. I am finishing off a can of pringles.

The lifetime series Unreal makes me feel a little bit better about reality shows that involve women competing over a man. Unreal is a fictionalized story of the people that work behind the scenes on a Bachelor type show. How they manipulate the contestants to get the footage and the ratings. And how the contestants aren't all there because they want a husband. A lot of those women just want the spotlight and don't care if they win as long as they stay on the series long enough to get their 15 minutes of fame out of it.

I'm watching a Let's Play of "Vampire: The Masquarade" right now. Honestly, I've heard a lot of praise for this game, and thus far, it looks pretty good. I might have to pick this up on Steam after I get payed this week.

I missed the 10pm airing of Unreal and turned it to Lifetime channel a few minutes before the 11pm re-airing with the volume on mute so I wouldn't be spoiled but then I took it off mute when it turned 11pm and the episode still had another minute and I got a massive spoiler.
