I just started reading the first book in the 50 shades of Grey trilogy. The woman in it---Anastasia Steele---is an annoying dumbass that does not act like a 21 year old university senior specializing in British literature. Every couple of pages I have to stop reading because she thinks or says something so incredibly inane or has things go rough shot over her head as if she has been living in a 1950s family program. I'm jealous that she is getting to have good sex since she's too dumb to even be having a sexual reationship of any kind.
I pity the people I know that are reading this book and go on and on about how dirty and erotic and kinky and risque it is. I mean, how can someone that has sex on a regular basis for years think these books are anything special? You can really tell that this started off as Porn with Plot fan fiction. I've read Spuffy fics that are way more arousing and deliciously wayward. __________________

I've read a few 50 shades anti reviews and I'm like, "Exactly! Thank you for seeing that and being annoyed by that too!"
But they do leave out a lot. I should write my own anti review of that book trilogy. Nothing does it like Spuffy fan fic. That's for damn sure. "I'll **** your little red socks off!" Spike going down on Buffy when she's on her period Buffy & Spike waking up chained and nude to each other Spuffy doing it while bunnies and then get turned back and continue doing it the list goes on.  Thank the gods for Spuffy fan fiction writers! Thank the gods for Spuffy! I should know now that if I'm going to read a book because it's popular that the odds of me liking the book are very slim. They should just automatically go into my mockumentary pile. The exception being Eat Pray Love. I freakin love that book. The movie was incredibly boring and I actually couldn't even finish watching it (I sat through watching slaughterhouse footage so that says something) but I can't say anything bad about the book. I love this OP.  __________________

It is a beautiful and inspiring memoir.
It's about a woman that is not happy with her life. She's just existing and doesn't feel joy for anything anymore. She's just out of two failed romantic relationships and realizes she needs to change something in her life. She decides she is going to travel for one year----4 months in Italy, 4 months in India, 4 months in Bali, Indonesia. She goes from eating delicious foods and learning Italian and enjoying tourist life(Italy) to going vegetarian and praying and scrubbing the floors of an ashram (India) to bicyling and working for a medicine man and meeting the love of her life (Bali). Hence the title. She eats in Italy, prays in India, and finds love in Indonesia. __________________

Most of the books I've bought lately are esoteric (theology, spiriuality, metaphysics). I keep planning on reading them but instead I've eaten junk food and watched The X Files on DVD.
So, do you zone out when people start typing about the new It books? lol Most people I know haven't read any of my favorite books.  Of coures if I want to talk about them there are probably hundreds of sites online. __________________

Maybe she didn't know it's Twilight origins. It'll be funny for her to read it knowing that she is supposed to be visualizing KStew & Rob.
