Giles doing that to Buffy was awful but unlike Quinton he did feel horrible and guilty over it. Then refused to continue to drug Buffy, then went in that house to help Buffy defeat that vampire. So Giles did have remorse and tried to make up for it, he also decided to tell Buffy the truth. I felt as hurt as Buffy over the test but he went against it and ended up getting kicked out of the Watcher's Council for it. Giles didn't deserve to get his ass whooped like Quinton.

I still wanted Giles to at least to get punched.
He was stupid to think the Council wouldn't try to get rid of Buffy in the first place. Giles did help make up for it but still he should have known they couldn't be trusted.  __________________
