I'm still surprised that he actually hit her. I have mixed feelings on them cutting it. On one hand it had great acting and was a great scene, but it also made Sebastian look very pathetic.

I think they cut them to make her look like the bad guy, that she was lying... which kind of sucks bc it built him up to look “better” and like the redeemed guy at the end and let Kathryn take all the fall but

It might have been better for the story if Kat wasn't the only villain. That seems to be the way they wanted the story to go though.
