Spuffy is Cookies and Cangel is Coffee Spuffy is Cookies and Cangel is Coffee OK, hear me out  Just a light bit of fandom fun, but the first time we saw Spike & Buffy share a meal together was in SOMETHING BLUE (we didn’t see him eating in PANGS) when they both got some of Willow’s cookies. And then there’s the cookie dough analogy from CHOSEN, which I think applies to both of them. They’re kinda both cookie dough that needs to finish baking - and Spuffy just remind me of chocolate chip cookies, because they’re so complex and sweet. And then with Angel and Cordy we saw them drinking coffee together in HALLOWEEN, the first time they talked. And she served him coffee a lot on the show (ETERNITY, TO SHANSHU IN LA, LULLABY) And in the latter one, he was trying to say he loved her over coffee. And Coffee is perfect for Cangel - they’re both brown and bittersweet and full of energy! Again, just some fandom fun. But I like finding foods for my fave ships. __________________
