Gothel seems worse than Cinderella's step mum. As she is Rapunzel and has been corrupted by Gothel.

Belle really is such a beauty in all senses of that word such a pure soul and unwavering faith

No she hasn't. Rapunzel wanted to help her family so went to find food in a garden it happened to be Gothel's garden and she was trapped there for 6 years till she escaped. In that time her husband assuming she was dead re-married and that was Cinderella's Mum and so Ella was born. She became Lady Tremaine as we know her and has done evil things but so far Gothel is definitely the big bad to defeat in S7 everyone else has been like a pawn in her plan.

So wait, Lady Tremaine is Ella's birth mom? It's not like the usual story where Lady T is the stepmom?

It'll be interesting to find out who the big bad will be next season, if Gothel is defeated.

Lady T is Ella's step mum. Its complicated. When Lady T was captured by Gothel she was gone for 6 years and so her husband married again his new wife is Ella's mom so when Lady T came back she got rid of Ella's mom and became Ella's step mother.

Tracey - Belle has always been my favourite Disney Princess and I was over the moon when I heard that Emilie was cast as Belle she has truly done this character justice and more
