At the end of the episode where Lisa and Nelson dated/broke up, Milhouse talks to Lisa. He goes from being sad to ecstatic because there's a glimmer of hope for him, now that she doesn't like Nelson.

Basically, Lisa was going to settle for Milhouse, but Bart prevents Lisa from doing that.

I never thought to ship anyone from this show before, well, besides Marge and Homer, mostly I just watch it for the humor. But, yeah, I could see this ship working.

yeah, that's pretty much all I recall too. I've only seen the ep once and after awhille all the eps kinda run together. For me at least.
