That is probably a reason why so many of my favorite fics are one shots Then I can see it capture one of his angelic moments, without having to find all of the other aspects of him represented too.

SSS is far less noticeable in oneshots, since they can still be in character.

And I am looking forward to reading them! I was just making a point about the advantage of one shots, in that SSS dont trouble me in them

ahm, they start at the point where Spike goes to Anya for a spell to help him with his feelings for Buffy in seson 6, and it goes an other way to season 7 after that.
