Nope. But I have the theory, since the song was written in 1992, that maybe the writer's heard it and based William off it.

Totally got a Once More With Feeling moment with your "I've got a theory".

I think that could be very possible. I mean it really sounds like that song was based off of him or the other way around. It fits him perfectly.
