bawwww...!!!!
am I a bad newbie who posts stupid stuff?? or not??

geez, it's hard being a newbie - i feel unwanted and left out! when i see all those elite fans with 25.000 posts my heart aches.

i'll never be that good!

hadasuli 09-28-2006 01:46 AM

Yet you have more posts than me and you joined later.. :P

Malha 09-28-2006 09:35 AM

^

Sometimes, some boards are so fast that new posters tend to be overlooked. Don't take it personnally when no one answers to something you said. It's not always intentional.

A post count doesn't really determine the measure of a poster. Some posters have been here for ages and have way less posts than me but they're well-known in the community. I have I don't know how many posts and I still feel like a newbie when I venture out on other boards sometimes. You stop caring about this after a while.

That's true. There are posters that joined years after I did and they have a number of posts that is incredible. It depends on how many boards you visit, how many time you can afford spending online or hundreds of reasons.

I don't think the number of posts constitutes how much of a newbie or not-newbie a poster is. Specially because there are many people whose posts consist of a smilie or a line or a word  Importance resides in the quality! not the quantity!

 true .... yeah it's sad :(

And yeah ashtray girl, the number of post is not that important, somme people have like 1475214584 posts but that's because they spend their whole days on What's-your-favorite-smiley- kinda thread, which is actually sad for them if you ask me.

But well, it's also true that it's hard to get really fitted in a community in which people have been knowing one another for ages, even if they don't want to hurt you :sigh:

Anywayzzz, i'm so worn out, i spent 2 hours public transports and it's like hell, especially because i had to weight lreally heavy stuff, it was hot, crowded and i needed to go to the bathroom all the way along. :bawl:

Talking about bathrooms, France is ********** behind regarding all these conveniences, can you imagine that in most of subway station there are no toilets ??? WTF ! !
The other day i wanted so much to go to the bathroom, well i had to wait for Gare de Lyon, as this station is really huge i thought it had to be some toilets. Well, actually i had to go up 3 floors, getting out of the subway line part of the station, to get into the main line part of it  and then i had to cross the whole floor to reach the toilet for which you have to pay !

Isn't it the same in most subway stations all over the world? :look:
Having to pay in train stations is something that bothers me too

Gah, saw George Michael in concert last night. It was great but my throat hurts this morning. So I decided to have some vermicelle soup to make it better and guess what? No vermicelle at home :bawl: So now I don't know what I'm going to have for lunch...

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope you'll feel better soon.
I thought it was from the concert but it wasn't, not really. It's just that I have a cold :(

I can't stand having this thread on page 2...

I'm feeling quite nostalgic this morning. A little down, even though I was extremely happy on Tuesday after my oral presentation in my British Civilisation class went well. I think I found my calling by the way. But when I woke up I was thinking of this thread and how much changed in 2 years. Not only in my life but in everyone's life around me. Like everything is still the same but nothing's quite the same.

I shouldn't have holidays, it gives me time to think
