Sorry about the incognito thread start, but we're over 250 on thread 165, so I'll start it here. If anyone wants me to change the title, let me know. I just wanted to get it up here .

He was the cocky, lovable, badass. She was his "Mary". Together they had a chemistry like no other. Four years on and we, the fans still appreciate the unique relationship of Rory Gilmore and her Tristan. That is the power of Trory!

On a slightly related note, guess what time it is folks? Thats right, FINALS!!! (my school works in 2 months terms all year round). Next week, (the week of my 21st b-day no less) I have finals. And this time...its gonna be even worse.
My kitchen written is at least a 2 hr test with 2 essay questions. Not to mention my practical which is 10 times harder then last term.

(On a positive note, I julienned a carrot last week and it didn't hurt me one bit!)

So beware. Its time for everyone's favorate psyco!

Thanks so sweet, but hun, you don't want to, lol. I mean, people think I'm a bitch when I beta....get me as a partner....oh no. I've lost many a friend to that. The only one that's really stuck around is Stew, and I think I'm *this* close to driving her away, lol. See, I no longer write. I just...kinda....order people around. But Cinn is about to find out what its like. She and I have been tossing a bunch of ideas around for the longest time, and I think we're actully on the road to making something happen. I give it a few months or working with me and she'll drop me faster then Marc Anthony dropped his wife for J Lo (see, thats me trying to be topical and trendy.....it really doesn't fit does it?)

I think I'd be good at staying sane...heehee. Me. Strong.

I've been musing at what I might possibly write for the ficathon. You know trying to come up with some ideas of the set up of the fic I might write. I know I have to wait for things to include and maybe even a theme or something, but I know it will take me a while to even come up with something once I get my writing papers

Sign-ups for the ficathon have been going really well. We're up to 17 people , I think, which is great. A few familiar names, of course, but also a few ones I didn't recognize, which is cool. Assigning the requests is gonna a bit of a challenged though- we have a lot of R/NC17 requests, but (I think) fewer people who are willing to write it. But, well, it'll somehow be worked out. :tongue: I hope. Heh.

Oh, and to answer Kali's question from the last thread: Yeah, I think that at some point, I'd definitely wanna try to get something published. But I'm a little leery about the idea of writing as a job, 'cos that might take away the enjoyment I find in writing just for pleasure and the whole using writing as a form of escapism thingy wouldn't hold up either. But yeah, it is something that I have thought about. Maybe in sometime in the future. [/long-windedness]

Yeah, I know I'm guilty of saying I wanted an NC-17 fic but didn't really want to write one...but I did say I'd do it if necessary. The whole thing seems very exciting.

I can't really imagine writing a fic with a partner. I like doing things on my own timetable in my own way--not good for partner-work.
