I can't be sure how exactly this character will turn out (I suppose we have to wait and watch the show to find out....if it will picked up) but according to what I've read Matt's character (Conrad) is not a psychopath. He is described as "flawed mentor whose volatility, more than anything else, drives our curiosity about what happens next", like a tough, cynic and brilliant doctor with a "toxic worldview". I don't know, but for me it sounds like an interesting character and that's the only thing I asked for when it comes to Matt's role. I also think it's important that Conrad is somewhat different from Logan and Cary but I don't think they're going to play the "evil" card for him.

Me too! It also makes me confident the fact that this time it's not a "supporting" character but a main one so we'll have time to understand and know the character.

Well, I have an open mind and if it's written well, even a "bad" character will be interesting to watch. Plus, like Karen said, it'll be nice to see him play someone different than his other characters.
